Kathy is the author of The Yoga Game, The Yoga Game by the Sea, The Yoga Game in the Garden and co-author of Strong Body & Mind Yoga Cards.
Kathy Beliveau has always loved nature, writing and pretty much anything that feeds the soul. She was raised in Lantzville, a small seaside community on Vancouver Island and traveled extensively as a young woman. Her journeys (which included sailing from Oslo to Rio de Janeiro) added layers of insight and reverence to her already adventurous nature. Eventually, Kathy returned home, planted deep roots and raised a family. Kathy’s relationship with yoga began as a preteen and has continued to grow and develop over the years. She has studied Children’s Yoga, Yoga Saftey, and is a Certified Yoga Instructor.
As well, Kathy writes for children and adults, teaches yoga to all ages and presents at schools and professional development conferences.
In a light playful style, her stories, presentations and workshops connect kids with nature, they connect people to the planet and they connect mind, body and spirit.
As an author, she visits preschools and primary schools (K-3).
Kathy’s passion for writing, nature and yoga is infections. Her presentations are engaging and inspiring as she plays with words and demonstrates how the powerful tools of yoga can be user-friendly and fun.
